    DAY 1: MELBOURNE-APOLLO BAY (95 miles/2 hrs)

    Welcome to Melbourne, Australia! Today you'll be met and assisted with picking up your rental car. Commence your scenic drive to Apollo Bay. Pass the bayside suburb of Geelong and continue on to join the Great Ocean Road, which offers some of the most spectacular coastal views in Australia. Enjoy the scenery as you pass wide beaches, dramatic cliffs and idyllic coves. Continue to Apollo Bay, where we suggest you take a walk along the beautiful beach.     DAY 2: APOLLO BAY-PORT FAIRY (121 miles/21/4 hrs)

    After crossing the spectacular Otway Ranges, you'll arrive at Port Campbell National Park. See the Twelve Apostles, a row of great stone pillars-the most spectacular landmark on the Victorian coastline. See the remains of London Bridge and Loch Ard Gorge, the scene of a dramatic shipwreck over 100 years ago. Travel past Warrnambool, arriving at the historic fishing village of Port Fairy this afternoon. Overnight: Port Fairy, Oscars Waterfront Boutique Hotel (B)

    DAY 3: PORT FAIRY-ROBE (207 miles/31/2 hrs)

    Travel from Port Fairy west today towards the South Australian border town of Robe, a charming village. You'll have plenty of time to enjoy the sights of the Shipwreck Coast. Overnight: Robe, Robe House (B)

    DAY 4: ROBE-ADELAIDE (210 miles/31/2 hrs)

    Head towards Adelaide today, taking in the stunning sites of the Younghusband Peninsula en route, and check into your hotel. Overnight: Adelaide, North Adelaide Heritage Apartments for 2 nights (B)

    DAY 5: BAROSSA VALLEY WINERY TOUR

    This morning, you will be picked up and will spend the day exploring the Barossa Valley, Australia's premium wine region. Sample some of the country's finest wines and enjoy lunch at a fine restaurant in the Barossa Valley. Discover some of the history, culture and local produce of the area. Explore the scenic regions that surround the Barossa Valley before returning to your hotel. (B,L)
