DAY 1: AYERS ROCK-THE OLGAS

You will be met on arrival at Ayers Rock Airport and transferred to your hotel (flights to arrive prior to 1:00pm). This afternoon, travel to spectacular Kata Tjuta (The Olgas). On your return, witness sunset over Uluru (Ayers Rock) and enjoy a glass of wine, a barbecue dinner and stargazing. Overnight: Voyages Ayers Rock Resort, Outback Pioneer Hotel (standard), Desert Gardens (superior) or Sails in the Desert (first class) for 2 nights (D)

DAY 2: AYERS ROCK-KATA TJUTA (THE OLGAS)

Rise early to view sunrise over Uluru. Take the opportunity to climb mighty Uluru before joining a guided tour of the base caves and a stop at the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Center. Later, view the sunset while enjoying nibbles and a glass of wine.

DAY 3: ULURU (AYERS ROCK)-ALICE SPRINGS

This morning, depart for Kings Canyon where you will enjoy superb views over Watarrka National Park. Or, you may wish to explore the canyon floor- an easier, shady river walk. Travel to Alice Springs, arriving at approximately 6:30pm. Overnight: Voyages Alice Springs Resort for 2 nights

DAY 4: ABORIGINAL CULTURE & CITY SIGHTS

This morning spend time with a local Aboriginal guide. You will learn of the lives and survival of the Arrente people, including bush food, the search for water and kinship. Then visit the renowned Desert Park, the Alice Springs Cultural Precinct, the Albert Namatjira Gallery and the Museum of Central Australia. See the historic Telegraph Station, Royal Flying Doctor Service, School of the Air, Alice Springs Reptile Center and enjoy panoramic views from Anzac Hill.

DAY 5: DEPART ALICE SPRINGS

You will be met and transferred by shuttle to the airport to connect with your onward flight.
